New Podcast Episode with David Coleman! "From Meditation to Daily Life: Living from an Open Heart." Listen on Spotify! |
A retreat may open a profound intimacy with the Heart. Then daily life begins again—with relationships, work, responsibilities, old tendencies, and unexpected challenges—and what was once so obvious may seem more distant.
Spiritual Companionship offers a space to remember. Through one-on-one meetings with an experienced Hridaya teacher, you can return to what is essential, renew your aspiration, bring greater clarity to your practice, and learn to recognize even the circumstances of ordinary life as part of the spiritual journey.
Through presence, deep listening, spiritual discernment, and the Hridaya teachings, your Companion supports you in listening more deeply to the wisdom and guidance of the Heart itself.
Spiritual Companionship has a different orientation than psychotherapy, counseling, mentoring, or coaching. These meetings are moments of shared presence in which you are lovingly and wisely supported in returning to the Heart, deepening your practice, and rekindling spiritual aspiration.
Each session lasts one hour and takes place online. You may book a series of 4, 8, or 12 sessions, usually meeting weekly so that continuity and depth can naturally develop.
Spiritual Companionship is for you if you have completed Hridaya Yoga Retreat: Module 1 or participated in a 3- or 10-Day Hridaya Silent Meditation Retreat and want individualized support for continued deepening.
We chose the word “companionship” because the spiritual path ultimately unfolds from within. A Companion walks beside you for a time—listening, reflecting, reminding, and sometimes offering guidance—while always honoring the deeper guidance of the Heart itself.
“Our way is companionship, and the good is in the gathering.”
–Baha’ al-Din Naqshband
“Admirable friendship, admirable companionship, admirable camaraderie is actually the whole of the holy life.”
–Buddha
“The Heart is remembered more naturally in the presence of one who is also remembering. Thus, the ‘I’ remembers itself.”
–Sahajananda
Each Companion is an experienced Hridaya teacher, and all sessions take place online. The center listed shows where they usually teach and their typical time zone. You are invited to book a session with whichever teacher you feel drawn to.
Aimee Norton-Taylor
Hridaya Mexico
Language: English
Aimee offers a calm, grounded presence, rooted in dedicated practice and an aspiration to live with an open, compassionate heart.
She listens without trying to fix, allowing space for what may naturally arise in the present moment, offering simple guidance to quiet the mind, return to Self-Inquiry, and rest into stillness.
Her longing for you is to leave each session with a renewed trust in the Spiritual Heart.
Claud Vaduva
Hridaya Mexico
Languages: English and Romanian
Claud brings a stable and spacious presence shaped by deep inner silence.
He accompanies students with warmth and clarity, helping them reorient toward aspiration and the subtle simplicity of Being. His way of guiding is unobtrusive, allowing the Hridaya teachings to be rediscovered from within.
He invites humility, deep compassion, Self-awareness and coming back home to the Heart.
Hadi Beyrouti
Hridaya France
Languages: English and German
Hadi accompanies others by rooting his approach in inquiry, developing discernment and clear perception, and trusting what emerges when we stop trying to force an answer.
He is interested in deeper recognition and the meeting place between spiritual practice and the ordinary, sometimes challenging human parts of life. Where the journey meets uncertainty, and change brings struggle, Hadi can help find the hidden jewel and turn a challenge into a spiritual opportunity.
Rather than offering fixed answers, he helps students listen more deeply to their own being, soften what stands in the way, and rediscover their own trust, wisdom, and guidance toward love and reality.
Iris
Hridaya Mexico
Languages: English and French
Iris is very happy to support you in integrating daily life into the Hridaya teachings and deepening your meditation practice.
If you feel stuck or encounter inner obstacles, together you can explore what may still be obscuring your openness to the peaceful, spacious presence of the Spiritual Heart. Her experience in therapeutic work brings sensitivity to psycho-emotional patterns and embodied responses, while the orientation of these sessions remains spiritual—witnessing these movements and rediscovering the deeper presence of the Heart.
Together, you can bring these veils into awareness, allowing them to be witnessed and released, so you can rest more deeply and freely in the presence of the Spiritual Heart.
Sebastian Teodor
Hridaya Romania
Languages: English and Romanian
For Sebastian, spiritual life brings together a love of understanding, an appreciation of beauty, and devotion.
Drawn to the poetry and insight of Kashmir Shaivism, he enjoys exploring how a teaching becomes something we can actually live. In accompanying students, he makes space for honest questions, careful reflection, and the discoveries that arise through practice. His wish is to help each person find a living connection with meditation, so the recognition of the Heart can gradually permeate ordinary moments, relationships, and daily choices.
These intimate meetings will flow in freedom and intimacy, according to your spiritual needs. The following is simply a suggested framework.
Our aspiration is that each meeting leaves more space for what is essential—to step back from identification, rediscover the Witness, and return to greater openness, love, silence, discernment, and trust in the Heart.
