Turn Your Life into Prayer—Through Devotion, Singing, and Sacred Offering
This workshop is an invitation into the essence of devotion—where life itself becomes prayer and each gesture, word, and breath is a sacred offering. Rooted in the timeless path of Bhakti Yoga, you’ll explore heart-opening practices that lead you beyond thought and into the presence of Love.
Through puja (“ritual offering”), kirtan and bhajan (“devotional song”), japa (“mantra repetition”), and the powerful poetry of written and spoken prayer, you’ll soften the mind and awaken the natural longing of the Heart.
In this immersive workshop, you’ll explore how to honor your emotions, desires, and passions as sacred energies, recognizing them not as obstacles but as potent fuel for devotion and union with the Divine. Through the Heart-centered practices of Bhakti Yoga, you’ll awaken spiritual longing and learn to transmute emotional pain into prayerful presence. Devotion becomes a powerful form of emotional alchemy, where even your most personal experiences are transformed into spiritual nectar, nourishing your soul and deepening your connection to the sacred within.
This workshop is rooted in reverence for the living traditions that carry these devotional practices. You’ll learn to approach Bhakti with humility, honoring the masters and lineages that have preserved these sacred forms of prayer, song, and sacred ritual. Guided by the spirit of ishvara pranidhana—surrender to the Divine—you’ll allow devotion to arise through faith, longing, and direct experience.

As a form of meditation, japa is easily accessible to beginners and can lead to profound states of interiorized consciousness.
“After all, the purpose of The Prayer is not to stand and bow all day long. The purpose is to continuously possess that fragrant state which appears to you in prayer. Asleep or awake, writing or reading, in every state, never be empty of remembrance. Be rather one of those moving constantly within prayer.”
“When devotion rises in the Heart, the soul becomes intoxicated with bliss...”
