Jojo has been dedicated to helping individuals on their healing journeys for many years. Her path of healing, coupled with her longing to serve others, has led her to study and work with various healing modalities. She has been working as an Aguahara therapist for eight years and is incredibly passionate about this unique therapy and the transformation it brings.

While working in a refugee camp in Greece, she first truly realized the power, beauty, and magic of a group of women coming together to heal regardless of race, age, social background, or way of life. Boundaries came tumbling down, hearts opened, connections were made, and the magic started to flow.

Since then, she has been very dedicated to working with women, giving retreats in many places worldwide, holding women’s circles, and doing individual work with women.

This beautiful path led her to Mazunte and Hridaya, where she has served since 2016. Upon arriving at Hridaya, she knew she had found a school that offered authentic yogic teachings, and from that moment on, she has been inspired to explore the profound Truth that yoga and meditation reveal.

After many years of serving at the school in different capacities, including supporting the various departments, coordinating the 49-Day Retreat, and looking after the dark room retreats, she finally followed her heart to do the HTTC in 2022. Having completed this 500-hour Teacher Training Course, she now shares the teachings at Hridaya in English and Spanish.

Jojo trusts that the Heart will keep lighting her way, leading her further into love and service, helping others awaken to the infinite Light of Love within.
