Florian landed in Mazunte in 2018 and never left—probably because the ocean, the jungle, and the deep stillness of Hridaya Yoga wouldn’t let him. Since then, he has been serving and teaching at Hridaya year-round, sharing his love for meditation, Self-Inquiry, and the life-changing magic of a good, slow Hatha Yoga practice.
A long-time seeker (and finder), Flo was drawn to Hridaya because it beautifully weaves together different spiritual traditions, all pointing to the same ineffable Truth—the realization of the Spiritual Heart. He is fascinated by the teachings of Ramana Maharshi, the power of Stillness, and the alchemy of energy sublimation (yes, turning lower energies into higher ones—no laboratory required).
When not on the mat, you might find Flo talking to animals (especially cats), contemplating existence with a poetic twist, or simply enjoying the vastness of Being. Above all, he finds joy in guiding others toward their own discoveries, offering both a steady presence and a reminder that, in the end, it’s all about Love.
