500-Hour Certification
Hridaya Yoga is a member of one of the top yoga registries in the world, Yoga Alliance.
The Hridaya Teacher Training Course (HTTC) is registered with Yoga Alliance as a 500-hour yoga teacher training.
Yoga Alliance (YA) was founded over 20 years ago and is the largest international nonprofit association in the yoga community. From its inception, YA has sought to establish minimum standards for yoga teachers worldwide. They embrace diversity, professionalism, and ethics in yoga. The group holds very high standards among members, who must meet the requirements below for 500-hour teacher training programs.
Hridaya Yoga’s program exceeds all of these levels.
Our YA registration, valid since February 2011, applies to all graduates of our program. Upon completion of the course, HTTC graduates are qualified to individually join the YA registry. However, Hridaya does not complete the registration for the student. HTTC graduates may choose to become YA members and may register themselves directly on the YA website.
