Hridaya Yoga is a non-profit organization, and we are committed to sharing the teachings of the Heart with as many people as possible. We offer our courses at accessible rates while still acknowledging the significant expense of operating a full-time yoga and meditation center.
Our regular price is what it costs to run our center and provide our programs. If you cannot pay the regular price due to financial hardship, we offer a low-income discount. To request this discount, please submit this application form.
We also recognize that many people are inspired to support our mission and help more lives be impacted by the teachings. If you would like to make a donation, please do so here. Thank you for your generosity!
Registration Notes
When joining us at the Hridaya Center, we ask that you be aware of our payment and refund guidelines. These guidelines exist to enable us to harmoniously serve as many people as possible.
As space in both our courses and accommodations is limited, we require advance notice in the case that your plans change and you must cancel your enrollment. Thank you for mindfully planning your visit with us.
In order to ensure a smooth trip, we recommend the purchase of travel health insurance.
Payment Guidelines*
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a registration. You may pay your remaining balance before or upon arrival.
Changes To Your Booking*
It is possible to cancel, reschedule, or request a credit for your reservation following the guidelines below. Please note that no refunds are available except as listed.
Cancellations
You may cancel your course and/or accommodation up to 15 days before check-in for a full refund, minus a cancellation fee of $1,000 MXN ($300 MXN if the total amount of your booking is $2,000 MXN or less). Note that if you cancel on-site accommodation while still reserving a course, you will also be subject to the cancellation fee.
You may cancel your meals before check-in for a refund of your meal plan deposit, minus a 10% processing fee. After check-in, you may cancel or reduce your meal plan one time. We will deduct the cost of the meals eaten (through the end of the day on which you request cancellation), add a cancellation fee of 25% of the remaining amount ($500 MXN maximum), and issue a refund for the remainder.
Rescheduling
Up to 15 days before check-in, you may request to move your booking to another date.
The first request for rescheduling is complimentary. Each subsequent request will incur a $1,000 MXN change fee.
Credits
You may request to cancel your booking and convert your deposit to a credit for a future visit, as follows:
Credits requested up to 22 days before check-in: Complimentary.
Credits requested up to 15 days before check-in: Subject to a $500 MXN fee ($150 MXN if the total amount of your booking is $2,000 MXN or less)
Credits requested less than 15 days before check-in: Not available
Note that credits:
Are valid for one year from the date of issue
May be used to cover course, accommodation, and/or meal fees
Are not redeemable for cash
May only be redeemed at Hridaya Mexico
May be transferred to a friend
If a credit is applied to a new registration that is subsequently canceled, any new credit issued will have the same expiration date as the original credit.
Please Note:
It is your responsibility to review and accept these guidelines before booking.
Bookings made on external websites (BookRetreats, BookYogaRetreats, etc.) are subject to the payment and refund guidelines listed on those sites.
You may not transfer your booking to another person.
*Some programs, including online events, drop-in classes, the 30-Day Alchemy of Being Retreat, the 49-Day Pratyabhijna Retreat, the Karma Yoga Immersion Course, and the Hridaya Teacher Training Course, have custom payment, cancellation, and modification guidelines. When registering for these courses, please carefully read the guidelines listed on their booking pages.
Program Notices
Hridaya Yoga Retreat, Module 1 Intensive:
Module 1’s daily schedule includes two Hatha Yoga classes and an evening lecture.
All Module 1 students must sign in prior to each class.
To receive the Module 1 graduation certificate, you must have attended a minimum of 16 full days (all 3 classes each day).
When space is available, graduates of Module 1 may repeat classes for a 50% minimum donation. If you’re interested in repeating Module 1, please contact us for more information.
New students enrolled in Module 1 receive a complimentary printed course booklet.
In addition to the booklet of daily course papers, a book of Module 1 evening lectures is available for purchase in our shop.
Hridaya Yoga Retreat, Modules 2 and Up:
The course fee for each module includes a booklet of course papers.
To graduate from Module 2, you must have attended at least 10 full course days.
Modules 3 and up include 18 class sessions, 10 of which contain the core curriculum and 8 that are devoted primarily to practice. To graduate from the higher modules, you must attend at least 8 of the 10 core classes and 6 of the 8 intensive practice classes.
Students may repeat classes in any Hridaya Module from which they have graduated for a 50% minimum donation. Note that attendance of module classes as a repeating student depends on availability. If you’re interested in repeating a module, please contact us for more information.
Workshops:
Students who attend workshops at the Hridaya Center may repeat the same workshop when offered again for a 50% reduction in price. (For example, if you attended the Art of Awareness workshop in 2025, you may repeat it in 2026 for half-price, space permitting.) Please note that this discount applies only to workshops first attended in Mazunte and is based on availability. If you qualify, please email us for the workshop repeaters’ discount code.
