Leandro began his Hridaya journey in Mexico in 2018. There, he found the deepest inspiration to integrate yoga’s physical aspect with the nondual teachings, the sangha or “spiritual community,” and the connection with his teacher, Sahajananda.
Advancing a little deeper with each course and retreat, he enjoyed that moment of global silence during the pandemic to establish a life around Hridaya Yoga in Mazunte. Leandro’s spiritual quest and aspiration to find a deeper Truth began with his childhood connection with nature.
He studied forests and birds in Argentina academically for 15 years. In parallel with his academic life, his interest in spirituality grew with Qi Gong and Vinyasa Yoga practices. In Argentina, he began practicing different styles of yoga, which he later continued in Germany.
In the last three years, he has participated in and taught Hridaya workshops, including various courses, retreats, and ceremonies, and served as a karma yogi at the school. Leandro has participated in the 49-Day Pratyabhijna Retreat twice, once as a retreatant and once as a coordinator.
Currently, the integration of spirituality and ecology, inspired by the Buddhist teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and Latin American indigenous cultures, resonates strongly on his path.
