Rose first began practicing yoga in 2012 as a tool to alleviate anxiety. Intuiting that there was more to it than calming the mind and stretching the body, her curiosity initially led her to India, Cambodia, and Thailand for self-exploration and multiple retreats.
In 2017, she (finally) found Hridaya Mexico, where her first 10-Day Silent Meditation Retreat shifted everything—her perception of self and reality—forever. Love, beauty, Stillness, peace, depth, mystery, Heart… all these words pointing to the same thread, cracked open. What was meant to be a one-month visit extended into three years: a washing machine of intensive training, extended periods of silence and solitude, and the challenges and joys of living and working in community.
Her fascination with yoga has since led her to multiple teacher trainings, including the Hridaya Yoga 500-hour TTC, a 200-hour TTC in Thailand with Swara Yoga Academy, and a 100-hour Yin Yoga TTC with Orion Yoga. She has also completed two year-long Mahavidya Initiations with her tantra teacher Dijan (Shivoham Tantra). She is a certified Mindfulness Mentor thanks to her six-month training with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield through the Banyan Mentorship Academy.
Rose has spent more than 250 days in silent meditation retreats, including a 30-Day Silent Retreat, a 49-Day Pratyabhijna Retreat, and several dark room retreats.
She now guides yoga and meditation retreats across Australia, while splitting her time between there, Hridaya Mexico, and Thailand.
A lover of sacred poetry, cacao, frangipanis, Excel spreadsheets, and jumping in the ocean after a sweaty beach run, Rose brings both presence and playfulness to her offerings.
