We’re seeking an experienced and organized leader to oversee daily operations at Hridaya Yoga France!

Our Operations Manager plays a key role in supporting the smooth functioning of our center, working closely with team coordinators, Karma Yogis, the administration, and the Board. They oversee our operational teams, buildings, and renovation projects, helping create a harmonious and efficient environment for programs and community life in alignment with Hridaya’s vision and the Karma Yoga spirit.

Responsabilidades primarias

Leading operational teams: Manage the coordinators of the Welcome Desk, Housekeeping, Kitchen, Permaculture, and Maintenance teams; facilitate regular team meetings; and foster clear communication across departments.
Overseeing buildings and facilities: Ensuring the upkeep of our buildings and grounds, while managing renovation, construction, maintenance, and permaculture projects from planning to completion.
Coordinating projects and resources: Prioritizing projects and deadlines, overseeing external contractors and utility suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery.
Supporting retreats and programs: Preparing the center for retreats, workshops, modules, and trainings, and serving as coordinator-on-call when needed.
Supporting Karma Yoga and community life: Working closely with the Karma Yoga Coordinator on volunteer onboarding, offboarding, and feedback, as well as organizing internal events and community celebrations.
Contributing to operational planning: Collaborating with the General Manager on operational priorities, annual goals, and budgets, tracking progress across departments, and contributing to quarterly and end-of-year reporting.
Cultivating a conscious work environment: Taking a practical, hands-on approach while helping maintain a heart-centered, collaborative, and efficient working environment.

Perfil del candidato

While serving at our centers and working with others, it’s essential to cultivate the Karma Yoga spirit, consciously integrating daily responsibilities into spiritual practice.

The ideal candidate has:

Experience in team leadership or operations management, ideally in a retreat center, hospitality, or nonprofit environment.
Experience managing renovation, construction, or building maintenance projects.
Strong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills, with attention to detail and deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams.
A calm, practical, and hands-on approach, including the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
The ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, residential, spiritually oriented community.
Alignment with Hridaya’s values and teaching principles.
Fluency in English; French is a strong asset.
The legal right to live and work in France.
