Dear Friend of the Heart,
In light of the current situation with the novel coronavirus, we have made the decision to temporarily close the Hridaya Yoga Center in Mazunte to the public until such time as local public health recommendations support our reopening. We are disappointed that we have had to suspend our meditation retreats, yoga modules, and workshops for the time being, but understand that it is for the best. We will review and update the situation in the coming weeks and look forward to opening our doors again as soon as is wise.
In order to stay connected with you and to support and nurture our collective practice, we will soon begin offering daily synchronized meditations. We are also currently exploring ways to continue sharing the teachings online. We will announce all happenings here as well as on our Facebook page, so stay tuned.
- 1-hour meditations shared online via Hridaya Yoga France’s Facebook Live every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:00 am CET (midnight Mazunte time). If you can’t join live, the videos are posted on the page for later viewing.
- A 49-day Tara Tapas, aimed at alleviating the suffering of everyone overwhelmed by fear, panic, and illness and awakening loving-kindness and compassion. You can start any time, from wherever you are! Antoaneta introduces the practice in this video and you can download the sequence here.
An Opportunity for Practice
For us, these circumstances are an opportunity to pause and reflect, to rest, slow down, and simplify. They present the gift of time to relax in nature, practice deep self-care, help others, and, of course, to meditate! Now more than ever, staying present and resting in the Heart is the greatest service any of us can offer.
We send our love and blessings to everyone facing pain or hardship right now and trust in the perfection of the unfolding Present Moment.
We are very grateful for your continued support and look forward to welcoming you again soon.
