Sa performance est recommand\u00e9e \u00e0 la fois dans les textes de yoga classiques et dans de nombreuses traditions contemplatives contemporaines.<\/p>\n<p>Il y a un silence r\u00e9v\u00e9rencieux qui peut \u00eatre ressenti par chacun dans des moments sacr\u00e9s, des moments o\u00f9 l&rsquo;ego est oubli\u00e9. Pratiquer mauna, ou noble silence, est un moyen de s\u2019ouvrir \u00e0 ce sacr\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>La pratique de mauna prend souvent la forme de p\u00e9riodes de parole contr\u00f4l\u00e9e. Un tel silence soutenu est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme essentiel dans la tradition hindoue, car la compr\u00e9hension de Cela d\u00e9passe les mots et ne peut venir que d&rsquo;une exp\u00e9rience directe.
