Hridaya Hatha Yoga & Meditation in Queensland, Australia
Hridaya Hatha Yoga is a gentle, subtle, spiritual practice that cultivates deep relaxation in order to bring grace, openness, and simplicity both on and off the mat.
During our sessions we will explore pratapana (warming exercises), asanas (yoga poses), and pranayama (breathing techniques) to stretch and strengthen the body, calm the mind, and help us rest into our own naturalness, our own Essential Nature. We will emphasize awareness throughout the entire practice, in doing so establishing the perfect balance between effort and relaxation, as well as training us to be more present to the joys of everyday life.
Note: While beginners are welcome to all classes, Saturdays will be dedicated to the foundations of the practice and will be the most gentle class. For those seeking a challenge, our Friday classes will be a little bit more dynamic.
What to Bring: Your own mat (if you have one).
